During this Sugar Flowers class, we will teach you how to make Old English Roses, Peonies and elegant filler flowers.
You will learn the skills and techniques for making these flowers, perfect for arranging in a beautiful bouquet. We’ll teach you how to work confidently with flower paste and how to use sugar flower tools. We’ll cover everything you need to know to make these flowers for your own cakes; how to build and construct them with the best tools, how to colour your sugar flower paste and use colouring dusts to achieve realistic colours. You will also learn how to safely attach them to a cake.
You will come away from the class with a selection of stunning sugar flowers ready to apply to any of your own creations at home. In our friendly and relaxed studio, you are encouraged to ask us any baking and decorating questions you can think of. Rosalind and the team are always happy to pass on their tips of the trade and industry know-how.
