Recreate this gorgeous two tier cake made with a torn ruffled wafer paper design and delicate wafer paper flowers.
We’ll teach you how to achieve perfect sharp edges and a flawlessly smooth finish with fondant icing (2 different methods on dummy tiers). You’ll then learn how to paint wafer paper and use it to cover and decorate a cake creating an elegant textured ombre effect.
Using coloured wafer paper, we’ll also show you how to make and decorate with pretty paper flowers with stamens.
You’ll leave with a beautiful two tier cake of your own and the confidence and skills for working with wafer paper cake designs.
You’ll also take a tour of our professional cake design studio and kitchen (conveniently located next to the classroom), you’ll also meet Rosalind and the team for a Q&A, during which you can ask all your burning cake questions and learn her tips and tricks developed over 20+ years of design training (* weekdays only).
