The Botanical Painted Cake Class will teach you how to design, sketch and paint a beautiful floral design directly onto a fondant covered cake. Walk in a painting novice, and leave as a botanical cake artist!
Suitable for beginners and more advanced students alike, even if you have never used a paintbrush before. Rosalind will take you through simple steps to be able to reproduce any design onto a cake. She will show you how to paint using our very simple, but effective painting technique. We will discuss different designs, and how to arrange and plan out your design on the cake.
During the class you’ll paint a version of this single tier floral cake, but the skills and techniques you will learn can also be used for different cake designs.
Plus there’ll be lots of useful hints and tips to take home, learned and developed over the years.
On top of all this, you’ll take a tour of our professional cake design studio and kitchen (conveniently located next to the classroom), as well as meeting Rosalind and the team for a Q&A. Plus there’ll be lots of useful hints and tips to take home, learned and developed over the years.
(Nb. this class uses pre-covered dummy cakes)
