Cake Flavour Menu

Our filled wedding and celebration cakes have four layers of our moist and fluffy sponge filled with 3 layers of filling per tier (for the standard size of a 4″ deep tier). We fill our tiered cakes with a silky smooth swiss meringue buttercream, sometimes with a combination of raspberry jam or lemon curd (single tiered cakes are filled with regular buttercream).

Our list of standard cake flavours is below. Please enquire for alternative flavours. These are our recommended sponge and filling pairings but alternative combinations are available.

Cake Finish

Our tiered and single tier cakes are covered in fondant icing or buttercream.

Underneath they are covered with a thin layer of Belgian chocolate ganache, or marzipan (for fruit cake) or buttercream (dependant on the size and design). This provides the foundation for a smooth and flawless finish and keeps the cakes moist.


Cupcakes

Cupcakes can be iced with a buttercream icing or with a smooth fondant dome. Our sponge and buttercream flavours can be mixed and matched. Fondant cupcake can be made with any flavour sponge but do not have a flavoured buttercream.
