Our nearest station is Brockley (2 mins walk). We are less than 10 minutes from London Bridge (National Rail trains), and Canada Water (London Overground).

When you come out of the station, cross over the bridge and exit onto Mantle Road. Turn right and walk past the Nisa shop and under the railway bridge. Turn left on to Endwell Road, and Dragonfly Place is the second turning on your left (after the ‘Brockley Cross Business Centre’ and opposite ‘Quick Stop Shop’). We are in the middle building on the right opposite the grass.


Dragonfly Place is a new build and does not come up on all Sat Navs. If it does not show up on your Sat Nav put in Endwell Road, SE4 (we are opposite ‘Quick Stop Shop’ and next to the ‘Brockley Business Centre’).


There is free parking available on Endwell Road and nearby streets.

We are currently looking for a creative and super organised Sales and Marketing Manager to help grow our unique cake brand.

The Role:

Sales and Marketing with some administration duties

This role is split across sales, marketing and admin.

The key objective of this role will be to increase sales and grow brand awareness.

We are looking for a creative and super organised Sales and marketing person with administration experience to join our award-winning cake design studio.

We would love to meet someone interested in working in our small, but fast growing business with a passion for beautiful cakes and confections. We need an enthusiastic self-starter who can help our growth by making and nurturing new sales relationships, managing and developing our social media platforms, online and marketing activities, as well as dealing with essential day-to-day admin tasks.

About us

Rosalind Miller Cakes is a boutique, fast-growing cake and confections brand at the forefront of wedding and confection trends.

We have been featured in Vogue, Brides, Harpers’ Bazaar and Buzzfeed amongst many other well known publications. We supply Harrods and Fortnum and Mason and are the recommended suppliers to some of the UK’s most prestigious venues such as the Ritz, The Dorchester, The Savoy, Claridges and Blenheim Palace. Special projects also take us overseas to the Middle East where we create magical dessert tables and wedding cakes for Royal weddings.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing person with some administration duties to join our award-winning cake design studio. You will be working in a friendly and creative environment with lots of cake! As we are a small but fast growing company, there will be prospects for career advancement for the right candidate.

You will be establishing new relationships and partnerships with wedding and event venues, wedding and party planners and retailers throughout the UK and internationally.  

You will be working closely with the management on sales and marketing as well as ensuring all day to day dealings with customers is carried out effectively.

You will be friendly and positive, with the ability to take initiative and work well in a small team.

You will be able to multi-task, prioritise and manage your own time, with excellent attention to detail.

You will have an excellent manner dealing with customers, and able to deal with clients ordering highly bespoke products, with discretion and confidence.

 Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Sales – making new connections and dealing with customers and partners to win new business
  • Customer enquiries & sales
  • Be responsible for coming up with new initiatives to increase sales, and developing sales strategies.
  • Grow brand awareness.
  • Manage all social media, website and online communications.
  • Reach out to influencers, journalists and collaborators.
  • Scope for some customer facing duties, including consultations & tastings
  • Generating invoices and receipts using Quickbooks.
  • Editing & sending out photos to press.
  • Creating mail shots & copy for marketing.
  • Day-to-day administration duties as required


Proven success in a sales role

  • 2 years in a similar role
  • Office administration experience 
  • Excellent organisation & time management skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Confidence in writing marketing copy 
  • Microsoft Word and Excel


  • Experience working with a food company
  • Some experience in marketing & social media management
  • Quickbooks
  • Lightroom & Photoshop
  • Basic photography

Minimum qualifications:

– Graduate BA or BSC
